Two Ways on How to Backup iPhone on iTunes
1Wireless sync

Step 1: Ensure that iCloud is turned off. Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup and toggle iCloud Backup to off.



Step 2: Then go to Settings > General > iTunes Wi-Fi Sync and select your computer from the list.



You'll see an option to "Sync Now" but by default the iOS device will automatically sync when the device meets three conditions


The screen is locked (i.e., you're not using the device)


The device is connected to Wi-Fi


The device is plugged into a power source.




2With a Cable

Step 1: Connect your iPhone or iPad to your PC and launch iTunes.

Step 2: Ensure that iCloud is turned off on your iPhone. You can't create backups with the use of iTunes when iCloud is active. Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup and turn off the iCloud Backup switch.

Step 3: In iTunes, right-click (or Ctrl-click) on your device, which appears in the leftmost pane under Devices.

Step 4: Choose Back Up.



Now that you have a backup, you need to know where iTunes put it in case you need to restore your device from it, or are ready to back up your backup to a second location:


Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Mobile Sync/Backup/


Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\Mobile Sync\Backup\


Windows Vista or 7: \Users\(username)\App Data\Roaming\Apple Computer\Mobile Sync\Backup\
How to Restore When Backup iPhone Using iTunes

Step 1: Launch iTunes and onnect your iOS device to your computer.

Step 2: In iTunes, right-click (or Ctrl-click) on your device, which appears in the leftmost pane under Devices.

Step 3: Select the Restore from Backup.



Step 4: Your iPhone will say "Restore in Progress" on the screen, and iTunes will show a progress bar. Then your iPhone device will reboot. Wait until the progress bar to finish and for the reboot to be completed before use or disconnect device.Bonus Tips:
